Known for his work on the Late Bronze Age collapse, his book 1177 B.C.: The Year Civilization Collapsed focuses on how the Late Bronze Age complex systems collapsed when multiple crises like climate change, invasions, and internal rebellions struck simultaneously. He also explores the resilience and survival of various peoples in his subsequent work. These are lessons for our times!
